Dentures that fit well and look natural
Missing teeth make it harder to eat, speak and smile with confidence. Dr. Shalini Chittamuri, DDS, makes full, partial, immediate and implant-supported dentures designed for a comfortable fit and a natural look, and she adjusts them until they feel right.
Types of dentures we offer
Full dentures
Replace all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw with a custom, natural-looking set.
Partial dentures
Fill gaps from one or more missing teeth, held in place by your natural teeth.
Immediate dentures
Placed the same day teeth are removed, so you never have to go without teeth while you heal.
Implant-supported snap-on dentures
Our partner oral surgeon places implants, and Dr. Chittamuri makes a denture that snaps onto them for a secure fit.

Consultation
Dr. Chittamuri examines your mouth, discusses your goals and explains which options fit your needs and budget.
Records
We take precise impressions and measurements of your mouth and bite.
Try-in
You see and test the look and fit before your dentures are finished, so we can make changes.
Delivery
We place your new dentures and show you how to wear, clean and care for them.
Adjustments
Sore spots are common at first. Short follow-up visits fine-tune the fit.
Long-term care
Regular checkups keep your gums healthy. Over time, dentures may need a reline to keep fitting well.
Why patients choose snap-on dentures
More secure
Implants help hold the denture in place, so it is less likely to slip when you eat or talk.
Easier eating
Many patients find they can enjoy a wider range of foods with more confidence.
Coordinated care
The oral surgeon places the implants, and Dr. Chittamuri designs your denture. Our front desk coordinates both offices.

How long does it take to get dentures?
It depends on the type. Conventional dentures take several visits for records, a try-in and delivery. Immediate dentures are made ahead of time and placed the day teeth are removed.
Will dentures feel natural?
There's an adjustment period. Most people get used to speaking and eating with dentures within a few weeks, and we'll adjust the fit to relieve any sore spots.
What are snap-on dentures?
They are dentures that attach to dental implants for a more secure fit. Our partner oral surgeon places the implants, and Dr. Chittamuri makes the denture.
What is the difference between immediate and conventional dentures?
Immediate dentures are placed the same day teeth are removed, so you're never without teeth. Because gums change as they heal, they usually need adjustments or a reline later.
How do I care for my dentures?
Brush them daily with a soft brush, soak them overnight and keep up with regular checkups so we can check your gums and the fit.
Does insurance cover dentures?
Many PPO plans cover part of the cost. We'll check your benefits and explain your expected cost before treatment.
