Invisalign FAQs
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
It depends on your case. Mild corrections can take a few months, while more complex cases take longer. Dr. Chittamuri will give you a personal timeline at your consultation.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Most patients feel some pressure for a day or two when they switch to a new set of aligners. That means the aligners are working. It's usually much more comfortable than metal braces.
Can I eat whatever I want?
Yes. You take your aligners out to eat and drink anything other than water, so there are no food restrictions. Just brush before putting them back in.
How many hours a day do I wear my aligners?
For the best results, aligners are worn most of the day and night, about 20 to 22 hours a day.
Is Invisalign only for adults?
No. Invisalign works for many teens and adults. We'll evaluate your teeth and let you know if it's the right option.
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
